My Kind of Guy

IMG_0786

I’ve been very vocal about how lucky blessed I am having Jeff as my better half. He comes in a complete package with freebies! He is so close to being perfect. In our 11 years of being together, he never raise a hand on me, when we fight he’s always the first one to apologize even if it’s my fault. I must have done something good for God to reward me such a man and every day I thank him for that.

My cousin and I are talking and she was telling me that she already wants to settle down but still unsure if her boyfriend’s the right one. She asked me what traits should she consider, I’m not good in giving advice so I just share Jeff’s characteristics so she can at least have some preferences. I’m not asking her to look for Jeff’s replica cos I know there’s none. Haha! My point lang is, she should look for a loving, faithful and responsible man. A man who’ll prioritize his family among other things. Ok, let’s start!

1. God fearing
Jeff reads the bible and pray every day. I don’t go to church every Sunday nung dalaga pa ko, when we got married, it’s a requirement that we go to church. Kahit puyat, bawal umabsent!

2. Responsible
Jeff has always been a responsible husband/father, he knows what his priorities are and Soleil and I are on top of it.

3. Faithful
This one I’m very proud of. Jeff have shown me his fidelity and his faithfulness is unquestionable. Never in our long years of being together has he cheated on me nor looked at any other woman. Iwee is enough! Hehe.

4. Honest
Sobrang honest nyang tao. He never lie. Kaya I’m safe, lahat din ng sweldo and bonuses nya pinapaalam nya saken! Hahaha. And he tells me everything, as in everything. Haha!

5. Loving
Need I say more?

6. Respectful
He respect his parents the way he respect me and any other people around him. I never heard him na sumagot sa parents nya ng pabalang. I always believe that if a guy respect his parents then he will never ever disrespect you. Do I make sense?

7. Good Provider
As responsible as he was, he’s also been a good provider. He provides all our needs especially Soleil’s. Ayaw nya nun!

Those are just few of the many good traits my husband has. Few example that needs to be on the top of your list if you are to look for a man who you will spend the rest of your life with. My piece of advice, never only settle on what your heart tells you, gamitan din ng utak and evaluate, Does he love you? Is he God-fearing?  Is he responsible? Will he be a good partner/father? Is he faithful? Is he honest? Does he respect his parents? Will he be a good provider? Pag YES lahat ang sagot mo or sobra sobra pa, sya na nga yun kaya GO na!

BER months are here…

ber
Whoa! Where did the past months go? I can’t believe it’s September now. I haven’t posted anything here since May. Lots of things happened for the past 4 months that I’m very thankful for, I should have blogged about it but I’m preoccupied with other things. Busy.

Anyways, I can already smell the yuletide breeze. It’s my favorite time of the year and.. and.. it’s only 4 months til Christmas! Weepee!!! This year went by too fast, it seems like we just celebrated Soleil’s 6th birthday yesterday and next month she is turning 7! I don’t know why but I feel all positive since the first day of the month, September gave us a good start. Jeff received a good feedback from work,  Soleil is doing well in school and I’m loving my work!! I know the rest of the BER months have more good things waiting for us. I’m claiming it. Good vibes!!!

The Beauty of Talisayin Cove

This is the first time I ever went to the beach with friends. Seriously! My parents never allowed me to join my friends when going on an out of town trip, so when my friends invited me to join them, I immediately asked Jeff if I can go. I’m expecting to hear a ‘No’ but.. Surprise! Surprise! Pumayag sya!!

One of my friend’s friend suggested Talisayin Cove, it’s a mountain away from Anawangin. Haha! To our surprise, maganda nga at parang nirent pa namin yung buong resort kasi wala talagang ibang tao but us. We went there Thursday. We left Malolos at 2am then we arrived at the port in Zambles at 6am. We arrived in Talisayin almost 7am na, grabe! It was the longest boat ride of my life! And I must admit, I don’t really like open waters. I love the beach pero hanggang dun lang sa malapit sa shore. Hahaha!

They don’t have electricity there, the owner have generator which they turned on right after sunset until 12mn. Not advisable to go here if you have kids coming with you.

Note: Lots of pictures ahead!!! (My pictures and some of my friends’) Haha!

Sudden Beach Trip At Magalawa Island

Our Family didn’t plan anything for the Holy Week, I really wanted to go swimming cos it’s so hot but Jeff has work on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, then he scheduled the rest of the weekend para ayusin si Bardo.

When we went to my parent’s house on Saturday, my mother told me na nagyayaya yung tita ko na mag beach, she asked me to look for a resort somewhere in Zambales for us to go to, mega hanap kaagad kami ng ate ko kaso 7pm na wala pa din kami nahahanap. Lahat ng tinatawagan namin fully booked, medyo nawalan na kami ng pag asa kasi naman gabi na tapos kinabukasan na yung plan namin na umalis, I suggested na try namin tumawag sa Magalawa kung meron pa available na rooms, although nakapunta na kami dun last year, dun nalang ulit. My tita called the owner of the resort there para magpareserve, close sila. Haha!

It’s a 5 to 6 hours trip from Malolos via NLEX and SCTEX. We left at 7am and arrived there around 1pm. Meron pa kasi kaming stop-overs.

Here’s our pics… (Lots of pics)

We enjoyed our trip! Super sudden pero enjoy. One thing I also like about this resort is worry free. As in wala ka ng iintindihin. Complete package from boat ride to accommodation to food pati snorkeling kasama sa package . Complete meal from the time of your arrival until before you leave the island. Haha! Pero Grace (the owner) apologized naman after kasi kahit sila hindi alam kung bakit walang lasa yung hotdogs. Ang weird lang. And sana dagdagan nila yung pwede maorder sa resto kasi walang mapag pilian, like fruit shakes and kahit ano na pwedeng merienda, kasi syempre swimming yun, nakakagutom! Tapos walang mabili na food. Yun lang naman! Hehehe.

Exclude the food, ok na ok pumunta dito. Super maasikaso yung may ari and mababait pati staffs. Clear waters with many star fishes, masasawa ka sa star fish! I will recommend it to everyone!

Please visit their Facebook Page for the rates. Hahahaha!

Soleil’s Dinner Treat at Guilbert’s Place

It was truly a hectic or may I say pig out day!? We’re still full from lunch but we promised to treat my family to dinner so we had no choice.

Guilbert’s Place is located in Tabang, Plaridel Bulacan. Every time we go there to eat, laging puno! I won’t make a review na about their food, as I’ve said, laging puno so masarap nga and isa pa, being a no food expert mostly masarap at hindi lang ang masasabi ko. Hahaha!

Here’s what we ordered.
